David Beckham is one of the most popular and successful football players of all time. He has played for some of the biggest clubs in the world and has won countless trophies.

Early Life and Education

In Leytonstone, London, England, on May 2, 1975, David Beckham was born.

His persons were Sandra Georgina (née West; b. 1949), a beautician, and David Edward Alan “Ted” Beckham (b. 1947), a room for cooking food healthier, the one wedded at the London Borough of Hackney in 1969.

He has a big sister, Lynne Georgina, and a small sister, Joanne Louise.

Beckham’s father was a fan of Manchester United, and he regularly took his son to watch matches at Old Trafford. Beckham attended Ridgeway Primary School and Chingford Foundation School.

In a 2007 interview, Beckham said that the strong discipline at his school played a major role in his future success: “It was tough going to a football school every morning at eight o’clock.

I had to be up at seven. I used to hate getting up in the morning but that made me disciplined.”

 

Start of career

David Beckham’s career began at Manchester United, where he made his first-team debut in 1992. He went on to make 265 Premier League appearances for the club, scoring 61 goals. 

Beckham achieved six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, one European Cup, one Intercontinental Cup, and a single FA Youth Cup at the scope of 12 age.

He also became the first English player to score a goal in the knockout stage of the Champions League, when he netted against Bayern Munich in 2001.

Beckham spent four seasons at the club, making 158 appearances and scoring 20 goals. He helped Madrid win the La Liga title in 2007 and was named the UEFA Team of the Year that same year.

Beckham left Madrid in 2007 to join the Major League Soccer side Los Angeles Galaxy. He spent six seasons with the Galaxy, winning two MLS Cups and being named MLS MVP in 2012. He also had loan spells at the Italian club AC Milan during his time with Los Angeles.
